Tommee Tippee

The Tommee Tippee brand was launched in America over 50 years ago. It came to the UK in 1965, and is now the brand leader in Baby Accessories in the British market.

Traditionally known for tableware and cups, recent growth has been fuelled by the award-winning Closer to Nature range of newborn feeding equipment.

The Tommee Tippee name comes from the Tippee Cup with its rounded weighted base, which makes it impossible to tip over.

A great British invention, the Sangenic nappy disposal system was designed by Dave Richards and Maurice Williams and launched in 1989. They built up the business selling in Europe and Japan. After the company was acquired by The Mayborn Group in 1997, the original ‘dalek’ shape design was replaced by the Sangenic Nappy Wrapper, and the Sangenic Easiseal, designed for use with incontinence products.

New for 2009 are two new great Sangenic products, Hygiene Plus and Nursery Essentials.

Between birth and potty training, a baby gets through 5000 nappies. That's a lot of trips to the outside bin - unless you have a Sangenic system.
