Business in the Community
Mayborn Baby & Child are members of Business in the Community (BITC).
Business in the Community is one of The Prince's Charities. BITC mission is to inspire, engage, support and challenge member companies to improve their positive impact on society. Working across four impact areas – workplace, marketplace, environment and community – their top campaigning priorities are tackling climate change and developing the talent and skills of the existing and future workforce.
By joining BITC and its 800 other members we commit to inspire, innovate and lead others by sharing learning and experience of responsible business; to impact on key social issues through collaborative action in areas of greatest need and to integrate, manage and measure our responsible business practice.
Community Plan
As we develop our community plan with the assistance of BITC Mayborn aspire to undertake activities within the local communities in which we operate with particular focus on facilities set up for babies, children and young people.
Charity of the Year
Our chosen charity of the year is BLISS, Bliss is the special care baby charity, providing vital support and care to premature and sick babies across the UK. Bliss was founded 30 years ago, and they offer guidance and information at a critical time in families’ lives. They also fund ground breaking research and campaign for babies to receive the best possible care regardless of when and where they were born
