(£19.99 rsp) from Tommee Tippee is ideal for new parents where hygiene matters most. A multi-layer film with an anti-bacterial layer means every parent can stop worrying about nappy germs and the new domed lid has an easi-push plunger so no-one has to push the nappy down into the tub.

 

Instead it rests in a ‘well’ of film, you turn the dial and then close the lid.

This single action wraps the nappy, seals it completely hygienically in anti-bacterial film in its own parcel and pushes it through into the tub, all in one easy step. And because it’s a metered dose, the new Hygiene Plus uses far less film than in its predecessor – and up to 60 per cent less than nappy sacks.

Inside the tub, the individually wrapped nappies are held in a coil of ‘sausages’ until the tub is full up to 28 nappies later. Cut the film with the new integral cutter, tie a knot, empty the tub and away you go again.
