Ed Chapman - Strategic Operations Director

Ed Chapman joined Mayborn Baby & Child in May 1993 as Chief Accountant and has worked his way through the business being promoted to Financial Controller in April 1998, Divisional Commercial Director in January 2004 and finally to his current position of Strategic Operations Director in August 2007.

Ed’s success with the Company is in acknowledgement of the considerable contribution he has made to the Division, its operation and its results, together with the identification of significant opportunities in relation to strategic planning. As Strategic Operations Director, he is responsible for delivering key productivity programmes across Operations and supports the business with broader strategic activities.

Prior to joining Mayborn, Ed began his career with Ernst & Young, Newcastle where he worked for 5 years before being promoted and relocated to Papua New Guinea for 2 years. Ed has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants since January 1989 and has a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Financial Analysis.
