Steve Parkin began his career with Mayborn Baby & Child in January 1997 and has enjoyed significant success with the company through development opportunities and promotion.
As of 1st March 2010 – Steve was named as CEO for Mayborn Group. Steve was promoted from Managing Director. Steve has been instrumental to the success of Mayborn Group Limited Baby division since 1997 and in his new role as CEO will continue to be the driving force to ensure Mayborn realizes its ambitions and goes from strength to strength.
As an entrepreneurial and dynamic leader, Steve has set a new vision for the company, emphasizing the continual innovation and development of simply intuitive baby and childcare solutions that support the important developmental stages of children, and their parents, around the world. Under his leadership, Mayborn, and the Tommee Tippee brand have expanded globally, including the company’s most recent introduction into the US market. Steve has held other board roles across Marketing, sales and Commercials positions.
Prior to joining Mayborn as European Marketing Controller in 1997, Steve began his career with the Dewhirst Group Ltd, a UK-based provider of toiletries and consumer goods. He completed both his undergraduate degree and his Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from Northumbria University. Beyond his professional life, Steve is a very keen sports player and committed dad to his two children.
