Our Brand

Tommee Tippee has been supporting parents for over 50 years, with innovative products to help parents with feeding, sleeping, changing and caring for baby.

Over the years we’ve learned that the truth is, everyone’s everyday is different and that’s ok. So we’re on a mission to build a new community for parents. A place where mums, dads and carers can feel reassured without feeling judged. With the right tools, support and impartial guidance however and whenever they need it.

History of Tommee Tippee

Tommee Tippee was founded over half a century ago, born from a mission to make everyday life easier for new parents.

Way back in 1940’s California, three entrepreneurial brothers had the idea to design a cup for babies that wouldn’t tip over. Even when their initial prototype was rejected, they carried on.

They decided to give their new cup a weighted base, and named it after their beloved dog, Tommee.

A British businessman loved their cup so much, that he invested in their idea and in 1969 the Tommee Tippee story officially began.

Today, we’re still as committed to our original goal as we were back in the early days.

We strive to create innovative and stylish products, championing everything it takes to be a parent. At feed time, mealtime, change time and sleep time. Making things easier when we can, always listening, creating, and inventing for new parents.

It’s no wonder our products are loved by little ones and recommended by generations of parents.

For us, it’s all about making life easier for real mums, dads and caregivers all over the world.

Whether that’s designing a baby bottle with the most breast-like teat ever, creating cups that can’t spill, or making a multi-tog Sleepbag that can be worn all year round.

With over 50 years of supporting mums and dads around the world we’ve learned that the truth is, every parent does it differently. And that’s ok.

We’re on a mission to help expectant parents build their confidence by knowing that however they do it, we’re here for them. We started with our campaign, The Boob Life which shone a light on the realities of infant feeding, in all its forms.

Now, we’re on a mission to continue telling the truth about bringing up babies.

Real life, real parents, real experiences.

We know that the world can feel like a hostile place for parents. Conflicting information, ‘perfect’ images and critical comments leave them feeling overwhelmed and low on confidence.

Our message is simple. #TheTruthIs when it comes to parenting everyone’s every day is different.

Your way or their way, we’re in it together. So let’s embrace all those individual parenting truths and build a culture of compassion where we can help every new parent grow in collective confidence, together.
