Mayborn announces enhanced family policies

Mayborn Group, the parent company to globally recognised baby brand tommee tippee©, has announced enhanced family friendly policies in all regions as part of continued implementation of its employer brand.

The new policies offer significant enhancements and include:

  • Increasing the period of fully paid maternity (or primary carer) leave from 3 months full pay to six months full pay in all locations including North America where maternity leave is commonly limited to just a few short weeks
  • Increasing paternity (or secondary carer) leave from 2 weeks to 4 weeks on full pay in all locations
  • A new Family Leave policy allowing three additional days’ leave a year for special family moments such as a child’s first day at school or graduation
  • Introduction of a Child Bereavement policy.  In the event of the tragic loss of a child from a still birth at 24 weeks onward to 18 years old we will provide 3 months leave on full pay.
  • Fully paid time off for fertility treatment

The new policies came into effect in April 2022.  Commenting on the changes, Global HR Director Louise Rich said:
