Mayborn wins coveted Gold Health & Safety Award from RoSPA

May 2022

Mayborn is delighted to announce that it has won a RoSPA Gold Achievement Award for health & safety performance during 2021.

In 2021 Mayborn reported zero lost-time accidents for the first time, achieving our aim to protect the health, safety and welfare of our employees (and any others who may be impacted by our activities) and enabling everyone to get home to their families at the end of every working day.

With three factories manufacturing our globally recognised baby products, health and safety is a vital part of our operations.

Global Operations Director, Simon Ely commented:

“Looking after our employees and their health is a vital part of what we do and so we are thrilled that our programme has received this fantastic recognition. Achieving a gold award is not easy, every year nearly 2,000 entrants vie to achieve what is the top accolade in the UK’s longest-running H&S industry awards.  It is with great credit to the team that we have achieved this honour.”

RoSPA, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents is recognised as the world-leader in health & safety practice and this award recognises the great work being done globally through Mayborn’s H&S programme.
